The department's ‘Attractive Füsics’ event was organised as a trade fair for the first time this year and proved to be a resounding success.
In the “Alte Maschinenhaus”, 28 research groups presented their diverse topics at 30 booths, giving more than 120 students the opportunity to talk directly with professors, research assistants and doctoral students in a relaxed atmosphere, ask questions and get first-hand answers.
The atmosphere of the event was relaxed and open: snacks and drinks provided an opportunity for exchange, networking and spontaneous discussions. Several research groups had set up experiments and demonstrations to illustrate their research focuses and make complex content tangible.
Another focus was on the presentation of two RMU master's programmes. In addition to the established master's programme in Soft Matter and Materials, the brand new master's programme in Particle Accelerator Science was also presented.
The Department of Füsics would like to thank everyone involved for the successful event and their great commitment.
